# VAT Section

The **Total VAT Amount** and the **VAT Rate Breakdown** is also available in the Breakdown Report.

The VAT Rate Breakdown is simply a breakdown of the Total VAT figure above. This also matches the values in the Tax Report. ([Reporting on VAT](/vat/reporting-on-vat.md#tax-report))

The difference between **Total Takings** and **VAT** is displayed as **Total Takings Net VAT**.
