# Discount-Related Permissions (POS)

There are **two discount-related permissions** that can be enabled for POS users:

* **User can apply discount to an order** — This allows the user to apply existing discounts to orders.
* **User can create custom discount (no reason)** — This allows the user to manually apply a discount without selecting from preset options.
