# Product Upsells in Meals

When a product is included within a meal, any upsells attached to that product will not be displayed. Upsells only appear if they are applied directly to the meal itself.

> **Example:**

> Quarter Pounder Burger Meal
>
> * Quarter Pounder Burger (has an upsell but it will not be shown because it is part of the meal)
> * Chips
> * Drink
>
> In this case, the Quarter Pounder Burger's upsell will not appear. However, if the Quarter Pounder Burger is ordered on its own (i.e., outside of the meal), the upsell will still be displayed as expected.
