# Common Configuration Mistakes

## Missing Availability Settings

The most frequent cause of products not appearing is failing to set availabilities throughout the entire product hierarchy. This includes:

* **Meal level**: The main product must have availability set.
* **Product level**: Individual items within meals require their own availability settings.
* **Customisation level**: All customisations and add-ons need availability configurations.

When any level in this hierarchy lacks proper availability settings, the entire product chain becomes unavailable.

Creating meals within meals causes system conflicts and prevents proper display.
