# Intentional Product Hiding

## Product Status Controls

Products may be intentionally hidden through several mechanisms:

* **Active Status**: When the **Is Active?** setting is disabled on a product, it immediately becomes unavailable to customers.
* **Snoozed Products**: The snooze function temporarily removes products from visibility without permanently disabling them.
* **Default Quantity Dependencies**: When a product has a default quantity greater than zero on another product, disabling or snoozing an ingredient automatically affects all dependent products.
  * For example, if you disable the Pepperoni topping, the Pepperoni Pizza will automatically become unavailable because the required ingredient is no longer accessible.
