Parent Name for Meals

Venues can choose whether to display the parent name (the meal name) alongside individual products on the KDS and Packing screens.

Example:

Meal: Tag Team — includes two 12.5" pizzas

• If enabled:

  • The KDS and Packing screens display the meal name in parentheses after each item:

    • The G.O.A.T 12.5" (Tag Team)

    • Spicy Nduja 12.5" (Tag Team

• If disabled:

  • The meal name will not appear:

    • The G.O.A.T 12.5"

    • Spicy Nduja 12.5"

To enable or disable the display of parent name for meals:

1. In the Admin Portal, navigate to Menu > Products.

2. Select the relevant product and go to the Details tab.

3. Tick or untick the Show parent name for children box to enable or disable the display of parent name.
