# Upsell Configuration

## Creating an Upsell

1. In the [**Admin Portal**](https://admin.gobossit.com/), navigate to **Menu** > **Basket upsells**.
2. Click **Add basket upsell.**
3. Enter the **Name**. This will appear as the screen header.
4. Click **Create**.

## Adding Products to Upsell

1. Once a basket upsell has been created, click on it then navigate to **Products** section.
2. Click **Add multiple products** then select relevant product(s) you wish to put in the basket upsell.
3. Click **Save**.

## Customising List Order

After saving, the products will be listed with a default List Order value. You can customise the order in which the products appear on the kiosk basket upsell by **updating the list order value** of the products. The system uses **ascending** order, so the lower numbers appear first (0, 1, 2, 3, etc.).

> If multiple products share the same list order value, they will be displayed in alphabetical order.

## Removing Products from Basket Upsell

To remove product(s) from basket upsell, **tick** the box next to the product(s) then click **Delete**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bossithq.com/menu/upsells/upsell-configuration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
