# Tipping

This setting enables tip collection after payment processing.

On the Viva terminal:

1. Go to **Settings > Tipping.**
2. Toggle **Collect tips** on/off.

## One-step tip

When one-step tip is **enabled**, you are able to set a fixed percentage that will be used for tipping. When the customer declines, tip options are presented.

When one-step tip is **disabled**, the terminal just presents the choice options.

## Custom tip

When **custom tip** is enabled, **Other amount** option can be selected from the tipping screen. This allows the customer to input a custom amount for their tip.
