# Redeeming Products on Reward Shop

This feature is accessible via the **"Products for Points"** button on the home screen or by clicking on the **Rewards** button while navigating the menu.

Upon selecting this option, the user is presented with:

* Their **current points balance** displayed clearly at the top.
* A list of **eligible products** that may be redeemed using points.
* The **points required** to redeem each product, shown alongside the product name and image.

The user can select a product from the list, complete customisations (if applicable), and click **Add** to add it to the basket.

If a product is redeemed, the points balance at the top will show how much points are left.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Only the **base product** is eligible for redemption using points. **Add-ons and extras cannot** be redeemed using points and must be **paid for separately** at checkout.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Redeemed products **do not contribute** toward the minimum order value. If a minimum spend applies, it must be met using paid products.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bossithq.com/points/points-in-the-web-app/reward-shop-app-only/redeeming-products-on-reward-shop.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
