# Partial Order Merges & Kitchen Preparation States
* **KDS Indicator:** If items have already been prepared/cooked prior to transfer, the target order displays a **COOKED** indicator next to the item. Alerts staff that food was already cooked under the original ticket, preventing re-cooking and aiding communication with kitchen leaders.
* **Packing Station Indicator**: If the item was already packed at the expo/packing station prior to moving, the item displays a **PACKED** status flag upon transfer. Ensures expo teams immediately recognize that the physical item is bagged/boxed and ready for dispatch.
