# Creating a Segment

1. In the [**Admin Portal**](https://admin.gobossit.com/), go to the **group level.**
2. Go to **Marketing > Segments**.
3. Click **New.**
4. Choose between **Build using filters** or **Upload csv list**.
5. If you choose **Build using filters**, define the segment name and the necessary filters then click **Create segment.** If you choose **Upload csv list**, upload your csv file then click continue.
