Stock Category

A Stock Category is used to group similar products together.

Example:

Packaging — Wrappers, Boxes, Paper Bags

Meat — Beef Patties, Chicken Fillets

Beverages — Cola Syrup, Bottled Water, Juice Cartons

Creating a Stock Category

1. In the Admin Portal, go to the group level.

2. Navigate to Stock > Stock categories.

3. Click Add Category.

4. Enter the Name.

5. Click Create.

Assigning a Stock Product to a Stock Category

Assigning a Stock Product to a Stock Category is done during Stock Product creation.
