Product behaviour depends on its product type. Some products have customisation options, while others don't.

Products that have customisation allow you to edit or add ingredients to the product.

Customisation within a Meal

If there is a customisable product within a meal, it redirects to the specific product customisation automatically. Click Done to go back to the meal details again.
