# Department Hours

In addition to setting time-based availability for individual products, **Department Hours** allow you to schedule availability for entire product groups.

This is ideal for time-restricted menus (e.g., Breakfast Menu, Lunch Deals)

When a department has defined hours, **all products** within it will only be available during those specified time intervals.
