Phone Number Verification

Venues may choose to enable phone number verification via SMS. This setting prevents abuse of rewards schemes.

Welcome Points

Optionally, after successful verification, customers can receive welcome points as part of the venue’s loyalty scheme.

This configuration is not available via the Admin Portal. This feature must be requested directly with the support team.

Loyalty Migration Significance

Phone number verification is essential when transferring existing loyalty points from a previous system. The verified number is used to match the customer’s old account with their new one in the POS, ensuring that any carried-over points are awarded to the correct person and are rewarded only once.
