# Defining Workload Modes

Workload modes control how the system estimates order readiness by adjusting the **preparation time**,  **internal cooking time,** and **delivery duration** based on operational demand.

Venues can define workload modes in the Admin Portal:

1. In the [**Admin Portal**](https://admin.gobossit.com/), navigate to **Venue** > **Workload modes.** 
2. Enter a **value (in minutes)** for each field.
   1. **Preparation time**
   2. **Internal cooking time**
   3. **Delivery duration**
3. Click **Save**.
