Creating a Product
In the Admin Portal, navigate to Menu > Products.
Click Add product.
Configure the details:
Name — Name of the product for internal reports and POS
Display Name — Name of the product for online
Generic name — Used in the KDS bottom bar for reference
Printing name — Used for printing on receipts
Department — Assign to appropriate department(s) for POS and Kiosk
Online department — Assign to appropriate department(s) for Web and App
PLU — Automatically generated value (can be manually overridden)
Product type — Regular, Detailed, Meal, or Combo
Price type
Fixed — Product pricing is the same all the time.
Variable — Product pricing allows variation depending time or day.
Sold individually — Whether item appears in product lists (Turn off for toppings that shouldn't be sold alone)
Active? — Toggle availability
Click Create.
