Service Charges and Discounts on Split Orders
The application of service charges and discounts depends on where they are applied:
Applied on Main Checkout
When a service charge or discount is applied to the entire order on the main checkout screen, the calculation is based on the total order value (all items combined). This charge or discount can then be transferred between groups as needed.
Example:
A 10% discount applied on the main checkout calculates 10% of the entire order total, regardless of how the items are later split into groups.

Applied on Split Order Screen
When a service charge or discount is applied directly within the split order screen, it applies only to the specific group's items and is calculated based on that group's subtotal only.
Example:
A 10% service charge applied to Group 3 calculates 10% of only the items within Group 1, with no effect on other groups.
