Creating Product Upsells

Creating the Customisation

  1. In the Admin Portal, navigate to Menu > Customisations.

  2. Click Add Customisation.

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    1. Name — internal reference for the customisation

    2. Display Name — this will appear as the header in the upsell prompt (e.g., Would you like to add a dessert?)

    3. Type — select Upsell

    4. List Order — define the positioning (ascending order)

  4. Click Create to save the customisation.

  5. Once created, click on the customisation and navigate to Selection options.

  6. Click Add product or Add multiple.

  7. Select the product(s) you want to put in the upsell.

  8. You have the option to override the product name and price for the upsell if needed.

  9. Click Save.

Assigning the Customisation to a Product

  1. In the Admin Portal, navigate to Menu > Products.

  2. Select the product you wish to assign an upsell to (e.g., coffee)

  3. Go to the Customisations tab and click Add customisation.

  4. Select the customisation you want to upsell.

  5. Click Save.
